Michael Gorski is currently living in Minnesota, where he and his daughter were both born. He spent half his life in the Midwest, never far from rivers and lakes. The other half he lived amidst the mountains of the world, including eight years in Whitefish, Montana, and, occasionally, by the sea. He has studied poetry at the University of Montana, the University of Minnesota, and the Loft Literary Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He's finishing his English and secondary education degrees in preparation for teaching high school.
