Mark Herman is 18 years old, a senior at Flathead High School and a part time student at Flathead Valley Community College. He loves spending time hunting, fishing, hiking, and anything else outdoors. This fall he will be attending Montana State University for a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He won the 2007 poetry award for the Student Writers contest sponsored by the Authors of the Flathead.
