John Holbrook lives and writes in Missoula, Montana. A former student of Richard Hugo's, John's book of poetry "Clear Water On the Swan" shared first prize in Montana Arts Council's 1991 First Book Award. Pudding House Publications Chapbook Series published "Loose Wool, River Tackle, Pencil Drafts," in 2003 and "The Dance" in 2007. Talking River Review's most recent issue features two of John's poems.
