Pete Thomas, originally hailing from Colorado with a degree in advertising (Loyola College in Maryland), he moved to Whitefish in 1996 to enjoy the mountain lifestyle and work as a graphic designer. Over the last ten years, his journey as an artist has evolved increasingly toward illustration-based work, such as logo design and poster art. Heavily influenced by nostalgic travel prints, his sophisticated style is easily recognized with its bold use of colors, lines and shapes. Recently, Thomas gained international recognition with his Whitefish Centennial Art Print Series in the highly competitive Graphis Poster Annual. You may see his work around Whitefish.
