Matt Holloway graduated from Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi, with a BA in English and an emphasis in creative writing. He studied under Dr. Suzanne Marrs who was a best friend of Eudora Welty, has published three books about Welty, and lectured widely around the globe - hence his intractable draw to Southern fiction. But, Faulkner is his man! Holloway now resides with his wife and daughter in Columbia Falls, Montana and writes when he's not clawing around in the wilderness. His work has appeared in Montana Magazine, Big Sky Journal, Montana Headwall, The Daily Interlake, and in the inaugural issue of Whitefish Review. Holloway will finish an MFA in Creative Writing from the Rainier Writing Workshop in the summer of 2012.
