Brian Schott was awarded a literature prize for his work in fiction as a Dartmouth College undergraduate. More recently, his freelance travel and outdoor writing has appeared in the New York Post, New York Daily News, Montana Living Magazine, The Spokesman Review, Great Falls Tribune, Skiing Magazine, Ski Magazine, and Powder Magazine. His most recent fiction appeared in the Spring 2008 issue of Big Sky Journal.
He lives in Whitefish, Montana with his wife Lyndsay, son Ethan, and two beautiful black dogs. During the summer, the Schott family moves east while he is perusing a Masters of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies with a concentration in creative writing at Dartmouth. He is the editor-in-chief of the Whitefish Review.
